It is reported that Chongqing Chuandong Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd.（CCSIC）has recently signed the LOI for the construction of four 2,450dwt stainless steel chemical tankers with Shanghai Sanhan Shippping Co., Ltd.
Since the beginning of 2005, CCSIC has successfully secured newbuilding orders for 41 stainless steel chemical tankers smaller than 10,000dwt and becomes one of the major builders for this kind of S&M tankers globally.
In the overall depressed shipbuilding market after the financial crisis, CCSIC makes every effort to develop new cooperation partners for sustainable profits and growth. The contract with Sanhan Shipping has greatly encouraged CCSIC’s confidence.
