Hyundai Heavy Industries is said to have been unofficially nominated by Korean shipping company KSS Line to build one 84,000-cbm very large LPG carrier.
According to KSS' regulatory filing on August 1, the contract is scheduled to be completed on January 31, 2014 and its total investment will be around KRW 83.3bn ($73.5m).
KSS is to sign the contract on September 10. The shipbuilder has not been disclosed by KSS, however, sources said Hyundai seems likely to pencil the contract.
