Graig Takes Handysize from Jiangdong Shipyard

Graig Group recently announced that the company had taken delivery of the Handysize bulker “Graig Cardiff” from Sinotrans Jiangdong Shipyard. The new-built vessel is one of the Seahorse 35 sister bulker Graig ordered at Jiandong.
Graig Cardiff is scheduled to join Lauritzen Bulkers Pool and then sailed from Jinzhou to Argentina. The other unit “Graig Rotterdam” is to be delivered by the second half of 2012. Both the newbuilt are supervised by Graig Group China Branch.
According to Hugh Williams, GM of Graig Group, the new delivery is of great significance to the group’s re-investment plan of self-own fleet. The Seahorse 35 bulker features energy-efficient, eco-friendly, low draft and flexible loading.
