It is reported that Shenzhen Huawei Offshore Shipping has recently purchased the UT 755LN platform supply vessel “Makalu” from India-based Global Offshore Services. The vessel has been delivered to Huawei in May in Hong Kong and renamed as “Hua Ze”.
“Mukalu” was built in 2009 by a Norwegian builder. The vessel measures 73.6m in length, 16.0m in width and 7.0m in depth. The vessel features a 700m2 deck and a maximum capacity of 3,327dwt.
The vessel is scheduled to reach She Kou Port recently and serve in the oilfield in South China Sea.
