Chinese shipbuilder Zhoushan Jinhaiwan Shipyard has delayed the delivery of three ships to Golden Ocean Group.
The shipbuilding contracts are related to two kamsarmax bulkers and one capesize vessel.
“Due to delay in the construction progress the company has agreed to accept late delivery of the vessels,” Golden Ocean said in a statement on Friday.
“The contract price for the three vessels in aggregate is now agreed to be $86.65m. The vessels are expected to be delivered to the company in the fourth quarter of 2012,” it added.
