China's Avic Dingheng Shipbuilding appears to have signed a contract for two 4,700-cbm ethylene/LPG carriers with Anthony Veder of the Netherland.
Sources said that contract values around $22m per ship, with delivery for June and December in 2014.
Anthony Veder had placed an order for four 6,500-cbm ethylene carriers in 2010 at Avic, of which the last vessel having been added LNG capabilities, and returned to the Chinese shipyard again.
Meanwhile, recently contracted 4,700-cbm LNG-fueled vessels can operate in designated emission control area, with fuel gas desulfurizers installed.
