Hyundai Heavy Industries appears likely to put a pen for Negmar Denizcilik‘s ammonia/LPG orders.
Gas players said the Turkish owner has commissioned Hyundai to build two 38,000-cbm ammonia/LPG carriers — with an option for another pair — for delivery in the third and fourth quarter of 2013.
A source said the price is more than $50m a piece, while other sources put the price at $48m apiece and said both companies already signed for a letter of intent (LOI) early this year.
