China's Fujian Shipbuilding Industry Group held "The 1st Amicability Award Ceremony" on 21st of June, which was joined by ten global shipowners from England, Malaysia, Germany, etc.
During the ceremony the shipyard also signed a $470m next generation offshore facilities newbuilding orders with some owners.
Exact number and types of the facilities are yet to be revealed.
Meanwhile the ten shipowners have ordered around 22 newbuildings worth $4bn at Fujian Shipbuilding since 2006.
