Chinese firm Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard grabbed an order to build four 28,000 dwt dry bulk carriers for US-based Seaboard Marine.
The latest contract has brought Wenchong Shipyard's orderbook to eight vessels to-date, the company said.
Wenchong Shipyard said the bulk carriers will be designed for fuel efficiency and incorporated with enhanced propulsion system to optimise vessel speeds.
