Malaysian shipbuilder TAS Offshore has signed a contract to build a new anchor-handling tug with an unnamed overseas shipowner.
The vessel is worth MYR 49m ($15.5m), with due delivery in early 2014. 
The unrevealed customer has already ordered 17 units from TAS, the Kuala Lumpur-listed holding company of Tuong Aik Shipyard.
