It is reported that Shan Hai Shu Group-Xiamen International Cruise Co., Ltd has recently concluded a newbuilding contract for the first luxury cruise in China.
The cruise is said to measure 100,000dwt in tonnage and will cost about CNY492m. It is scheduled to hit the water by October 2018.
At the same time, the construction of cruise home port in Xiamen has started. The port and its surrounding infrastructure will provide a sound platform for the construction of the first luxury cruise in China.
