ODC Wins Major Orders

Oman DryDock Company (ODC) has received two largest carriers for servicing and repairing, the largest order since its inception in April last year.
The two carriers — German crude carrier Alpha Glory and Echigo Maru gas carrier —receive maintenance and repair service at the dock.
Alpha Glory has a capacity of 309,636 tonnes. The carrier, which is 333x58x31.2 in size, will receive maintenance and repair service at the dock. The service includes the replacement of a large quantity of steel in addition to cleaning the tanks.
Echigo Maru gas carrier, owned by NYK LNG Management of Japan, has a capacity of 67,219 tonnes and it will receive general maintenance including replacement of a large quantity of steel, the company said in a press release.
Last year, the company had received a gas carrier, Muscat LNG owned by Oman Shipping Company, which was smaller in size.
