China's AVIC Weihai Shipyard has recently booked a new order for 28,400-dwt multi-purpose carriers (MPC) from Ansheng Shipping of China.
The newbuilding MPC, 179.9m in length, 27.6m in breadth, 14.2m in height and 10.2m in designed draft, will be classified by the China Classification Society (CCS).
The contract has already been signed in the end of 2011, while just revealed recently.
Meanwhile, AVIC Weihai previously contracted for 12 same-size vessels.
