STX Offshore & Shipbuilding of South Korea has contracted two 5,000-cbm LPG carriers, valued at KRW 45bn ($39.6m) with a Greek owner Brave Maritime Corporation, announced on March 26.
The newbuilding pair, to be constructed at Busan yard, are scheduled for delivery during the first quarter of 2014.
Two optional newbuildings are contracted as well.
Meanwhile, STX, having signed LOI for 2+2 6,500-cbm LPG carriers, is expected that additional orders contracted soon.
