Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding of China has contracted for ten 51,000-dwt bulkers from a Chinese shipowner.
The vessels, 199.95m in length, 32.26m in breadth, 16.5m in height and 10.5m in draft, sail in 12.9 knots. Classified by China Classification Society (CCS), the ten newbuildings are to be delivered from June to December 2013, one by one.
During recent troubles in shipbuilding and shipping markets, Taizhou Kouan works hard to secure new orders by active marketing, building confidence from high quality vessels and fulfillment of the contract.
Also, Taizhou Kouan reorganizes management system to upgrade quality, while takes action on IMO regulations and also makes efforts to educate and train human resources. Moreover, its sales executives often meet with overseas shipowners.
