Domestic big shipbuilders have begun to shift their eyes to newbuilding orders for small ships which they used to ignore due to the lasting depressed market.
It is recently revealed that SWS is vying for a order of six 4,300CBM bunkering tanker with small and medium shipyards. Although SWS has no experience in building vessels of this type, the yard succeeded in winning the order by its advantages in brand, capital strength and price.
