UAE-based jackup rig operator Shelf Drilling has entered into an agreement to sell its 2019-built Jackup rig Shelf Drilling Journey to Adnoc Drilling.

The rig has fetched a price of $77.6m and it is expected to be delivered during the first quarter of 2021.

Following the sale, Shelf Drilling will have a fleet of 35 Jackup rigs.
