On August 21^st, Guangzhou Shipyard International Company Limited (GSI) subordinated by China State Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. (CSSC) delivered its first MR chemical/product oil tanker to IMC Group and CSSC Leasing in eight newbuilding series and named it as “Maritime Comity”.

It is 183m in length overall, 35m in width, 18.5m in depth with 10.5m of the design draft. It is a Type two chemical tanker with energy-saving, environmental-friendly and high-efficient features as per MARPOL Tier Three and NECA requirements. Besides, it can load 22 kinds of liquid cargoes without contamination among those chemicals, catering for loading and unloading requirements mostly and providing more choices and flexibility for shipowners in the operation.
