On the morning of November 25, the 210,000 DWT bulk carrier started to built by Tianjin Xingang Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. for COSCO Shipping Bulk Co., Ltd.

This is the first of three 210,000 DWT bulk vessels under the contract between Xingang Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. and COSCO Shipping Bulk Co., Ltd. It is designed by China Ship Design & Research Center Co., Ltd. with 30m in length overall, 50m in width and 25.20m in depth. The scantling draft is 18.55m. Furthermore, the ship can sail into world-wide areas, including the main route in China-Nigeria. The design also met the Suez canal navigation rules according to the technical specifications.
