Recently, Tokyo-based Kawasaki Heavy Industries announced a contract for the construction of an 82k CBM LPG carrier with Kumiai Senpaku.

The newbuilding vessel is said to be delivered by the end of 2013. The price is estimated at $73m.

This deal is the second LPG carrier order for Kawasaki after its contract with Sanko Steamship for the construction of an 80k CBM LPG carrier.
