State-run China Shipping Container Lines has reportedly exercised options to order four more 10,000TEU large containerships split between CSIC unit DSIC and CSSC subsidiary Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding with two units each.
The container line ordered eight same type vessels at the two shipyards with each yard winning four ships in late October.
According to overseas sources, the Hong Kong-listed CSCL has recently decided to go for the options for $94.28m per ship for H2 2014 delivery.
