On Oct 18^th, Marketing Director of Yuexin Shipbuilding, Mr. Eric Lim, announced the company just signed a contract of two 77m DP2 offshore support/oil recovery vessels in Singapore.

The vessels feature 77.8m in length, 17.6m in breadth of, 7.8m in depth and 6.4, pg maximum draft. With 3600T dead weight, the vessel can carry 1100m3 fuel oil, 600m3 fresh water, 1100m3 drill water, 700m3 mud, 280m3 dry cement and 60 men at one time. With 750 m2 deck area, the vessel is powered by twin 2000kw main engines, delivering a speed on sea trials of 13.5 knots.
