Greece's shipowner Almi Tankers has reportedly ordered two Very Large Crude Carriers from South Korean shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering.
The contract is thought to be worth around $210m in total.
Both are 320,000-dwt vessels for delivery in second half of 2013.
But industry sources doubt the order was inked recently at a time when tanker market is slumped so severely.
Daewoo had signed a contract in March 2010 with Almi Tankers to build two very large crude carriers for $210m in total.
The two 319,000-dwt crude oil tankers, with a length of 333 meters and a breadth of 60 meters, will be delivered by the second half of 2013.
