CSC JinLing Shipyard has won an order for six handysize bulkers plus four optional units from Ariston Shipping of Greece.
The owner booked the 37,000-dwt newbuildings instead of larger capesize or panamax as big ships face oversupply and rates slump.
Handy market is rather stabilized and investment burden is much smaller than large ships.
Handy BC orderbook is also very small and old ship proportion is high.
