ES Group's subsidiary won an order to construct two jack-up drilling rig blocks for its repeat customer, a major Singapore shipyard.
The customer ordered two jack-up drilling rig blocks as part of a high specification jack-up rig's main hull. The total size of the jack-up drilling rig blocks amounts to approximately 1,320 metric tonnes.
Financial terms for the contract were not disclosed.
ES Offshore Engineering will start construction of the two jack-up drilling rig blocks in November and delivery the units in July 2012.
